Crompton Classics Farewell Celebration

After yet another amazingly successful season for the club, finishing 1st in the Intermediate League Division 2, and 2nd in the Junior Jubilee ‘A’ Final, the end of ‘The Mighty Crompton Classics’ draws near. The Committee has decided to hold a ‘Celebratory Evening’ for all members (even those who may not be necessarily remaining with the new club) to celebrate the end of over 100 years of memorable swimming history.

The party will be held at Tara Leisure, in Shaw on Friday the 7th November 2014 and will include disco and pie supper. There will be no admission charge for this event, as it is purely being held as a fun, farewell event for everybody.

Tickets will be available from myself or any other Crompton Committee member. (I know there is no charge, but we will issue tickets so that we can estimate numbers for catering purposes). Alternatively reply by return email to let me know if you are interested in attending the Crompton Classics Farwell Celebration. Look out for posters advertising this event up at Royton Pool, shortly.

Please feel free to forward my email onto any past or current members that I may have missed off, if you think they may wish to join us and celebrate the 100 years of a successful swim club in it’s last couple of months.

There will also be a presentation of Medals to all of the children that represented Crompton Classics in The Oldham Aqua Gala in June earlier this year and successfully won us 3 out of a possible 4 trophies.

Hope to see you and your families all there for a night of fun to draw the club to a most memorable end.
